Khanally

Although I find Sonic and Sally together quite appealing, the ship between Monkey Khan and Sally Acorn is fascinating. I wouldn't want it to feel like Sally has other options for a love interest, but rather something that takes time and patience to help a person grow out of a complicated relationship.

Now, that doesn't mean I don't like SonAlly.

Sure, I like Sonic and Sally to date for a while, but I don't think Sonic would WANT to become KING of an entire kingdom and linger in one place forever. He's just an adventurer, living free as the wind until the day he dies. Yeah, Sonic can get married at some point, but only if they were his type. Maybe Amy, though I don't know yet.

And Sally would want to focus on becoming a strong leader and not wrangling with a boyfriend. She's got enough problems with leading a kingdom, the Freedom Fighters, and maintaining a relationship all at once. Sonic and Sally are better off staying as friends after a short-term relationship. They can still bicker, tease, call it quits, look out for one another, and stay besties for life. But yeah, I don't think SonAlly would work as long-term lovers.

Overall, I like KhanAlly and I much prefer seeing these two over SonAlly. Khan can help Sally move on from Sonic and would be more serious in a long-term relationship than Sonic, which I think is better for Sally.
